Project Challenges: Name, Logo, and Visual Identity.
-

Departing from the partners' desire to create something meaningful, dismantling and transforming the old systems within the coliving industry, we landed on the name: a combination of the word flip and the first syllable from coliving. The “CO” also reinforces the collaborative side of the project, bringing a friendly yet technological characteristic to the brand.

The wordmark borns with an active voice and a strong will for change. With a custom typeface, the blocky style boosts the perception of an organized structure, while the chopped dots reflects the sense of constant collaboration and sharing.

In the visual identity, by intentionally chopping the titles and placing them unaligned in the compositions, the designs generate a restless yet strong grid structure, where shapes and small texts can play around.

In the center of this dynamic and vibrant system are some key elements. The first one is what we called Talking Dots: from a well-structured grid and based on circles and half-circles, we created a diverse range of unique illustrations. They can be incorporated into the layouts as part of the composition or used independently as large icons.

The second visual element is the Moving Dots. Used to bring flow and movement to the compositions, they are a graphical representation of collaboration, connectivity, and interactivity.

When all the elements are put together, they generate a lively environment, establishing a direct relationship with the logo, helping the brand increase its awareness within the market.
